God didn’t create you to ALWAYS carry a full plate. It’s ok to lay it down at HIS feet.
As I look back at this picture I see a time where I was a busy mom, wife, lawyer and small business owner, I, like many women, put my own health on the back burner. I was struggling with chronic fatigue, moodiness, horrible PMS symptoms, ovarian pain/cysts, migraines, stubborn weight gain, hair loss, irritability, poor sleep, hot flashes and night sweats (just to name a few…)
There were times when I felt like a prisoner in my own body. Mentally I was aware, but physically I felt out of control. And most days, I would just try my best to “survive”.
This left me feeling depleted, overwhelmed and most days exhausted!
I wish I could go back and tell that version of me that it was ok to lay some burdens down that I was carrying and focus on my health. That just ‘dealing’ with these symptoms was actually NOT normal.
Flash forward 10 years and a ton of google searching and habit swapping, I have come to realize that your health is the greatest gift you can give to those you love and yourself!
What is one thing you wish you could tell the younger version of yourself?👇🏼
