Summer is the perfect time for a nutrition reset! Not a “start over because you failed” reset, but a realignment with habits that actually support how you want to feel: energized, hydrated, and consistent.
Here’s how to reset your nutrition habits and actually stick with them:
- Start small, not extreme
- Pick 1–2 habits to focus on instead of overhauling everything at once. Consistency beats intensity every time.
- Build structure into your day
- Aim for balanced meals with protein, fiber, and healthy fats to stay full and avoid constant snacking.
- Prioritize hydration
- Heat + activity = higher fluid needs. Keep a water bottle with you and add electrolytes if you’re sweating more than usual.
- Add, don’t restrict
- Instead of cutting foods out, focus on adding: more fruits, veggies, plant-based protein, and whole grains.
Make it realistic
Your routine should work on busy days too—not just perfect ones. If it’s not sustainable, it’s not the right habit.
🌞 Summer habits to incorporate:
• Hydrating first thing in the morning
• Eating seasonal produce (berries, watermelon, cucumbers)
• Keeping easy, balanced snacks on hand
• Prioritizing meals before social events so you don’t show up overly hungry
