Not because it’s fake. Because it doesn’t change what I do next.

A bio-age score tells you a number.
It doesn’t tell me why.

Meanwhile. ApoB. Lp(a). A CAC or CCTA.

These tests tell me your actual cardiovascular risk years before a symptom shows up.

That’s the difference between a number for your Instagram story and a number that changes your treatment plan.

Longevity medicine isn’t the test with the best branding. It’s the test that changes what happens Monday.

Ask your provider what they’re actually going to do with the test. If the answer is “nothing-yet” you bought a number, not a plan.

Part Two. Grand Teton National Park sunset photo adventure.

When Rob and I decided on a private elopement, we knew we also wanted epic sunset photos on the Jackson Hole side of the Tetons.

The plan was simple yet special: wearing our official wedding attire; dress and suit, do our first look (Rob really wanted this), and head to a unique spot far above the typical photo locations.

We wanted a unique Teton sunset, but in true “us” fashion, we didn’t want the standard Schwabacher Landing or Mormon Row photos that everyone has.

This time, we actually planned ahead. On our June trip to Jackson to see Gregory Alan Isakov at Snow King we scouted, mapped out the route, and hiked (yes it included a short hike) to the exact spot we had picked for the hopeful perfect sunset; weather permitting.

As stated in part one, we have been to the Teton Valley more times than we can count and have never experienced back-to-back days of rain.
Naturally, for our elopement week, the forecast called for rain every single day. 🤦🏻‍♀️

After staring at the radar and weighing our options, we decided to pack both our sunrise vows and our sunset photos into a single day: August 12th. It looked like our best window to dodge the rain and actually capture those dreamy Teton views.

We knew it would be a marathon. It meant outfit changes, makeup refreshes, and very little sleep, but Rob, our photographer, and I were all in.

However, after our chaotic morning e-bike adventure and with the cloud cover deepening, we went back and forth on whether to drive over the pass or reschedule.
We debated for hours. Finally, after some heavy detail-digging, Rob and our photographer, Ben, decided we had a decent shot at catching some good light... though there was a very real chance we’d get poured on.

I told the crew I was along for the ride and started getting ready, this time stepping into my actual wedding dress with the help of my mom.

Once ready, Rob and I drove over Teton Pass from Driggs in separate cars so we could preserve the magic of a real first look.

We settled on Sawtooth Overlook for the big reveal before heading up to our secret location. The first look was incredible and we s

“I don’t know what the future holds but I can’t imagine a life of adventure without you”.

Part one: our elopement story.

When Rob and I started planning our elopement we knew we wanted an adventure. Something involving, a sunrise, bikes, and our favorite mountain range; the Tetons.

We bought land in Driggs, the Idaho side of the Tetons, a few years ago and will make it our second home someday so it holds a special place in our heart.

Our sunrise elopement plan was to bike up Targhee, in the dark, to meet sunrise and share our vows.

Things didn’t go exactly as planned but isn’t that a metaphor for life?

Most places in the valley don't have central air since it rarely gets hot.

Naturally, our first night there hit an unexpected heatwave, and the Airbnb stayed at a stifling 80° all night. Nobody slept.

At 3:00 AM, I dragged myself out of bed to get ready. I threw on my wedding sundress, tucked it into my leggings, pulled on my biking shoes, strapped on my helmet, and off we went to Targhee.

On the drive over, I asked Rob how he was feeling about the route.

He felt good.

He had mapped it out, though we hadn't done a trial run (hindsight is always 20/20! 😂).

We got there, unloaded and started to ride in the complete darkness. However, about 10 minutes into our ride, Rob stopped us as he realized we were on the wrong trail. No big deal usually however we had a timeframe to meet sunrise.

We turned it back and started heading up the correct trail. We were on forest service road but still concerned about the possibility of getting in trouble as e-bikes are not allowed on Targhee mountain but we decided to keep going anyway anyways.

As we continued to ascend, we realized just how steep the trail actually was.

It was so steep the motor of the e-bike simply stopped working. I was pushing the 100 # e-bike up the side of a steep and loose mountain trying to use the throttle while the back tire continued to spin out. I kept my composure but man was I getting frustrated.

Then it really dawned on me that this is a typical adventure with my husband. Rob is always in for some type 2 fun. And that’s exactly what this morning started out to be. It couldn’t hav

What if healthcare was about adding vibrant years to your life, not just managing illness?

Step inside the space where longevity meets luxury.

FNDATN got a facelift.

The same level of care you’ve come to expect with more options and a bigger team.

If you’re optimizing your business, but ignoring your sleep, hormones, metabolic health and cardiovascular risk you’re just not optimizing anything.

I see this constantly with high performers: perfect spreadsheets, zero visibility into what’s actually happening in their body.

• sleep tracked by wearable, never acted on
• hormones never tested
• basic metabolic markers, checked once a year, if that
• cardiovascular risk assumed “fine” because a basic cholesterol panel is “normal” and asymptomatic

Not experiencing symptoms is not the same as nothing happening.

You wouldn’t run your company on once your glance at the books. Your health doesn’t run on that either.

This is what Concierge’s medicine is actually for, not more appointments; real data, traced and acted on before it becomes a crisis instead of after.

In fact, quite the opposite. We truly build relationships with our patients in FNDATN.

But seeing a patient reach a point where they no longer need or expect care is the best part of doing functional medicine.

Our work is all about getting to the root cause of health issues, but the ultimate goal isn’t creating long-term dependency—> it’s total empowerment.

When a patient transitions back to managing their wellness independently or with a few yearly visits for check ins and hormone refills, it means we did the deep work together, addressed the underlying imbalances, and built a sustainable foundation that actually lasts.

To all my patients who have transitioned to the next level; I’m so proud of how far you’ve come on your healing journey.

You now have the knowledge and tools to listen to your body and take the driver’s seat in your own health.

Remember, wellness evolves, and the FNDATN door is always open. 🌿🩺
