This is this Aqua Fitness class that signals it’s the end of the outdoor summer season; River Barre combines our Aqua River Runner class with our land base Barre class bringing the amazing instructor Emily, out to the Lazy River! Traditionally we have a little celebration afterwards as well. The weather was overcast but, the participants brought the sunshine and the fun!!🌥️💦🏃‍♀️🧑‍🩰🏊🏻‍♀️💦🤗

Final photo dump of Parkie’s Lazy River 5K on August 8th. What a fantastic turnout we had and everyone came ready to get a great workout and have FUN!! It’s hard to get pictures of everyone, hopefully you can find yourself in at least one of the pictures. Thank you again to ALL the amazing participants near and far who traveled to join us for our 3rd 5K of the season. Thank you to Scooters, my fellow Aqua Fitness Instructors, the amazing staff at Pelican Harbor, our management team at the Park District and our Fitness Manager Leader for making our 10th 5K so successful!! Remember, registration usually opens in February or March for our summer events so, if you want to join us, sign up early, typically all three events sell out.
