Today at CABI CORE Saturday Kids Group, the children explored creativity, teamwork, and nature through hands-on activities! They practiced fine motor skills while building and decorating bird feeder wind chimes and craft houses, followed directions during each project, and used problem-solving skills to assemble their creations.

The group also learned about caring for our feathered friends and the importance of helping birds by creating and hanging apple bird feeders outdoors. Through crafting, outdoor exploration, and cooperative play, the kids strengthened communication, creativity, patience, and confidence—all while having fun together!

Our teen group wrapped up some belated homemade Mother’s Day gifts using recycled 5-gallon water jugs! 💐♻️

The teens planned, designed, and created each project from start to finish while practicing important executive functioning skills like organization, problem-solving, creativity, time management, and teamwork.

We love turning everyday items into something meaningful while building confidence and life skills along the way. Great job, everyone! 💙

🎨✨ CABI CORE at the Nashoba Children’s Day Fair! ✨🎨

We had an amazing time at the annual Nashoba Children’s Day Fair! Our teen group members stepped up in a big way—helping run the sand art station and engaging with younger children throughout the event.

While having fun, they were also building important life skills like executive functioning, social interaction, and voice/volume control in a real-world setting. 👏

We’re so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and positive energy—it truly made a difference! 💙
