🎪🎉 Carnival Week at CABI CORE! 🎉🎪

The fun is underway! This week our learners are enjoying carnival-themed games, activities, crafts, and plenty of smiles as we build social skills, communication, teamwork, and confidence through play. 🎈🎟️🍿

🐠 Saturday Social Skills Group was all about FISH! 🐠
In honor of our newest CABI CORE finned friend, we dove into a day full of fish-themed fun! The kids got creative naming our new betta fish with favorites like Fish, McFish, Flippy, and many more. 🐟
They also made delicious fish candy kabobs, raced through exciting fish relay games, and practiced important social skills including teamwork, communication, waiting, following directions, and cheering on their peers.

A fintastic day full of learning, laughter, and making waves together! 💙🌊

🏕️ Camp CABI CORE was full of adventure, laughter, and hands-on learning! Our campers enjoyed an indoor camping experience complete with mini hot dogs, gooey s’mores, and cozy campfire fun.

Along the way, they practiced communication, requesting, following directions, waiting, turn-taking, fine motor skills, problem-solving, sequencing, and social interaction—all through meaningful, play-based activities. Learning is always more fun when it’s wrapped up in an adventure! ⛺🌭🍫🔥❤️

What an incredible day filled with sunshine, laughter, water games, ice cream, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories! 💙 Watching our students, families, and staff come together to celebrate the start of summer reminded us what the CABI CORE community is all about—connection, inclusion, and FUN.

🍦✨ Saturday Social Skills Fun at CABI CORE! ✨🍦

Today our kids created and ran their very own “CABI Scoops” Ice Cream Shoppe! From designing and decorating their storefront to taking customer orders, making sundaes, handling money, and working the cash register, they practiced so many important social and life skills while having fun.

Skills targeted included:

🍨 Teamwork & cooperation
🍨 Money skills
