🚚 Stuff the Truck is TOMORROW!

Monday, September 28 is our RVPCS Stuff the Truck donation day with Savers! If you’ve been cleaning out your closets, now is the time to bring those gently used items in. 👕👟📦

📍 Bring your donations to your local participating RVPCS clinic, dental location, or pharmacy tomorrow.

You don’t have to worry about getting everything to one central location, RVPCS team members will be traveling to our participating locations throughout the day to collect the donations and bring them together for our Stuff the Truck drop-off.

What can you donate?

👚 Clothing, shoes and accessories
🛏️ Bedding, blankets and towels
🍽️ Small household goods
📚 Books and media
🎮 Toys, games and more

📦 Please have your donations sorted and packed by category before bringing them to your RVPCS location. Check the attached flyer for the full list of accepted items.

💭 If you're considering a GLP-1 medication for weight management, you may be wondering: Is it right for me? What should I eat? And how do I make the results last?

💊 When you are prescribed a GLP-1 through RVPCS, you can also work with our Registered Dietitian to help support your nutrition throughout treatment.

🥗 Why does nutrition matter?

GLP-1 medications can decrease appetite and slow digestion. That can make it easier to eat too little or miss important nutrients without realizing it. A dietitian can help you:

🍗 Get enough protein and other essential nutrients
💧 Stay properly hydrated
🥦 Build balanced meals that work with a reduced appetite

River Valley Primary Care Services is hosting our first community donation drive with Savers, and we’d love for our patients, employees, and neighbors to join us!

If you’ve been cleaning out closets or have gently used items you no longer need, Monday, September 28 is the day to bring them in. 👕👟📦

📍 Donations can be brought to participating RVPCS locations throughout our service area.

What can you donate?
👚 Clothing, shoes and accessories
🛏️ Household textiles such as bedding, blankets and towels
🍽️ Small household goods
📚 Books and media
🎮 Toys, games and more

Please check the attached flyer for the full list of accepted donation items.

A few things to know:
📅 Please bring donations on Monday, September 28.
📦 Donations should be sorted and packed by category before being brought to the collection site.
🎯 Our goal is to collect enough donations to reach $1,000 for RVPCS!

We’re proud to give a shoutout to Colleen Atchley, Behavioral Health Director/DNP, and Dangie Casper, Peer Recovery Peer Supervisor, for representing River Valley Primary Care Services at the Arkansas Peer Recovery Conference! 👏📚

Colleen and Dangie had the opportunity to lead a breakout session together, bringing clinical and peer perspectives into the conversation. 💬

The audience brought great energy, with tons of participation, thoughtful questions, honest perspectives, and plenty of laughter along the way!

The goal wasn’t simply to “teach” a topic. It was to create a space where different perspectives could meet, challenge one another, and give everyone something useful to take back to their work and communities. 🤝

It sounds like they accomplished exactly that!
