Recently, I have received numerous messages to complete or correct tattoos that I did not initiate. This situation is frustrating for me, as many of you are aware that I was previously married and worked at my ex-husband's tattoo shop. During that time, he accepted payment for tattoos, began working on them, and then failed to complete them. I would like to emphasize that I, Kiana Womble, am an independent artist who takes full responsibility for my own work. If you need a tattoo touched up or revised that I originally created, I am more than happy to assist you. However, if the tattoo in question was started by my ex-husband and you have already paid him for the work, I encourage you to contact him directly to complete the tattoo. As a professional artist, I do not provide free services. To illustrate this point, if you were to take your car to a mechanic and receive subpar service, you would not expect another mechanic to fix the issue for free simply because they share the same profession. The same principle applies to the tattoo industry. My previous marriage does not obligate me to complete my ex-husband's unfinished work, for which he has already received payment. As a skilled artist, I have worked diligently to establish my reputation, and I am frustrated that some individuals are attempting to hold my ex-husband's incomplete work against me. I would like to reiterate that I am not affiliated with my ex-husband's tattoo shop, nor do I work in the same county. Therefore, it is unreasonable to expect me or my current studio to assume responsibility for his unfinished work. I am a dedicated professional, and I will continue to provide exceptional service to my clients while maintaining my artistic integrity. Thank you!
Sincerely, her own artist, Kiana N. Womble!
