Celebrating Quality Care at Boundary Community Clinics!

We're proud to share that Boundary Community Clinics has received more than $25,000 in quality incentive funding through Community Care of Idaho (CCID) in recognition of our commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

This achievement reflects the outstanding work of our entire clinic team, with special kudos to Tina (pictured far left), whose dedication to quality reporting played a key role in making this possible. Thank you for your hard work and attention to detail!

These quality incentives are earned by meeting important healthcare benchmarks that help improve the health of our community. Measures include:
💙 Diabetes management
❤️ Blood pressure control
🎀 Breast cancer screenings
💙 Colorectal cancer screenings
🧠 Depression screening and follow-up

This award reflects healthier patients with better outcomes, earlier disease detection, improved chronic disease management, and a continued commitment to providing exceptional care right here in Boundary County.

Congratulations to our entire BCC team on this well-deserved recognition. Thank you for all you do to care for our community every day! 💚💙

Today we are celebrating the incredible nurses at Boundary Community Clinics. Pictured here are Carolyn and Kim, two of the caring faces who help support our patients and providers every day.

We also want to recognize the rest of our clinic nursing team who were not available for the photo. Your compassion, attention to detail, patient care, and steady support make such a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Thank you to our clinic nurses for the heart you bring to healthcare and for helping us care for our community every day.

Diabetes can affect so much more than blood sugar. It can impact your energy, your vision, your circulation, your heart health, and your overall well-being. The good news is that awareness and early monitoring matter.

According to Defeat Diabetes Foundation, some common warning signs can include increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, blurred vision, numbness or tingling, and slow-healing sores. They also highlight the importance of knowing your diabetes “ABCs” which include A1C, blood pressure, and cholesterol. Risk factors can include things like inactivity, poor diet, obesity, stress, prediabetes, gestational diabetes, insulin resistance, and PCOS.

At Boundary Community Hospital, local access to lab work plays an important role in prevention, monitoring, and ongoing care. Tests like A1C and other lab services can help patients and providers keep a closer eye on blood sugar trends and overall health. Early information can make a big difference.

If you have risk factors, symptoms, or simply need routine monitoring, staying on top of your lab work is one practical step you can take for your health.

To learn more about diabetes, prevention, and screening, contact your primary care provider. Boundary Community Clinics - Family Medicine & Behavioral Health has same-day appointments available (208)267-3655, call or text.

Happy World Health Day!

Today is a reminder that good health starts with access, prevention, trusted care, and informed choices. The World Health Organization’s 2026 theme is “Together for health. Stand with science,” highlighting the importance of evidence-based care and working together to build healthier communities.

At Boundary Community Clinics, we are proud to be part of that mission by providing care close to home for the individuals and families we serve. Whether it is preventive care, routine visits, lab services, or helping patients take the next step in their health journey, our goal is to make care accessible, compassionate, and community-centered.

Your health matters every day, and World Health Day is a great reminder to check in on the basics: schedule your appointments, stay current on screenings, ask questions, and take small steps that support your overall well-being.

We are here for our community, and we are honored to care for you.
