Hi friends! Cutty here! A note about booking to people who feel they’ve been overlooked or ignored: As a lot of you know, this is my private studio, just me tattooing here and my boyfriend who gives me a hand running the desk. I am insanely humbled by the amount of requests, but it has been a bit overwhelming trying to keep up with every email, facebook message, instagram message, and phone call while getting this lil shop off the ground. It has been a hell of a learning process. I’ve let a few people that I’ve really wanted to tattoo slip through the cracks, and I’ve fallen off of some conversations that I’ve started with people because I couldn’t keep up. People start getting pushy and aggressive and I hide from my email. I tattoo about 8 hours a day 5 days a week and sometimes draw 4-5 hours a day, which doesn’t leave me much time for family, or relaxing, or anything really, and sometimes emails are the last thing I want to do at the end of the day.

I think I finally figured out a good system that’ll work great from here on out, but I’m still left working through my backlog to at least get everyone a response. I’ve closed my books to new requests until I can work through this backlog, books will reopen to new people in August. If you’ve sent me an email in the past and feel you’ve been overlooked (or if we started a conversation that I failed to follow up on) you can call the shop and leave your name with my counter person (or if we’re not there, please leave a brief email with your name!). I’ll search your name in my email and get you a response asap. PLEASE be patient with me though! It will take me a while to get through this backlog, but I am not currently taking new requests until August, so you WILL get a response if you have emailed in the past and call and leave your name. 828.386.6266

I have never intentionally ghosted anyone. Booking is a very personal process for me, I like to be able to throw around ideas before I book you, so I can give you an estimate and figure out how long I need to book you, and that’s just not something I can let an assistant do for me. Thanks for bearing with me. I am not perfect, but I try my hardest.
