Some kids walk in a little unsure and walk out standing tall, smiling bigger, and feeling like themselves again. Today’s vibe was confidence, a peace sign, and a whole lot of personality right on the adjusting table.

We’ve had the privilege of caring for a lot of really cool kids in this office. Not because of sunglasses or style, but because of the way they show up, grow, and thrive when their bodies are supported the right way.

Some moments in the clinic are a perfect snapshot of who we are as a team.

Two of our staff standing at the front desk, working through a challenge, trying to piece things together. Then, right on cue, Rhonda peeks around the corner. She already knows how this story ends.

Because that’s what happens here.

No one is left to figure things out alone. When something feels unclear, overwhelming, or just plain stuck, someone steps in. Not to take over, but to support, guide, and move things forward together.

It’s not about always having the answer right away. It’s about knowing that the answer will come, because we trust each other and we show up for one another.

The short response, the irritability, the withdrawal, the need to control, the overworking, the shutting down… these are not random. They are signals.

Cold plunging has become a powerful tool in our wellness center, and we’re seeing more and more women step into the practice and make it their own.

While the core benefits of cold exposure apply to everyone, women often experience it a little differently. Hormonal fluctuations, nervous system sensitivity, and metabolic differences can all influence how the body responds to cold. This means the approach matters.

For many women, it’s not about pushing to extremes or chasing longer times in the water. It’s about listening to the body, honoring your cycle, and using the cold as a way to regulate rather than stress the system.

When done intentionally, cold plunging can support:
• Nervous system regulation and reduced anxiety
• Improved mood and mental clarity
• Reduced inflammation and muscle recovery
• Hormonal balance support when not overdone
• Increased resilience, both physically and mentally

We often guide women to focus on shorter, more controlled exposures, especially during certain phases of their cycle, and to come out of the plunge feeling energized rather than depleted.

This is not about proving toughness. It’s about building awareness, strength, and connection to your body.

Fourteen years is more than just time. It’s shared stories, milestones, and moments that become part of who we are as a community.

This week, we are saying goodbye to a couple who has been with us through so many chapters of life. We’ve witnessed the highs and supported them through the challenges. We’ve celebrated the birth of grandchildren and the growth of their family, and somewhere along the way, they became part of ours.

There have been many tears this week. It’s never easy to say goodbye to people who mean so much. But beneath it all, there is deep gratitude for the years we’ve shared and the trust they’ve placed in us.

As they begin this next chapter in North Carolina, we are choosing to send them off with smiles, knowing that the connection we’ve built doesn’t end here. It simply travels with them.

Thank you for 14 incredible years. You will always be our family.

Some people come into your life for a season, and others become part of your story.

Over the past four years, we’ve had the honor of caring for a truly special family whose roots in the military shaped their strength, resilience, and commitment to those around them. What started as a simple connection grew into something much deeper—trust, consistency, and genuine care.

As they begin a new chapter in North Carolina with their son and their dog, we find ourselves both grateful and a little bittersweet. Watching families grow, evolve, and step into new adventures is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do.

We wish them nothing but continued health, success, and the same sense of support and community wherever they land. May they find a place of wellness that feels like home, just as they’ve been a part of ours.
