“Pediatrics used to be SICK care. Meningitis, rotavirus, pneumonia: that’s what practices billed for. Vaccines erased those visits. If money were the motive, we’d want disease back.”

Vaccines are immensely costly for pediatrics to purchase (and reimbursement often doesn’t even cover the cost) but the expense is WORTH it. Our goal is to keep children healthy.
