Food isn’t a test of your morality, and you don’t need a “hall pass” to enjoy a pastry. 🥐✨

When we take away the “forbidden” label:
✨ Food loses its intense power over us
✨ We can actually tune into hunger and satisfaction
✨ Eating becomes peaceful instead of stressful
It’s just a croissant.

Enjoy it, and carry on with your life!

Save your money! 💸 Nutrition doesn’t need to be as complicated (and expensive) as wellness culture makes it out to be.

If your immediate thought looking at a fully stocked freezer is, “If I bought that, I’d eat it all in one sitting,” I want you to take a deep breath.

That isn’t a willpower problem. It’s a scarcity mindset problem!

When we tell ourselves a food is “bad,” “off-limits,” or that our diet starts again on Monday, it triggers the urge to eat the entire pint right now because we don’t know when we’ll will get access to it again.

As a registered dietitian, here is the secret to breaking that cycle: Food Habituation.

When you give yourself unconditional permission to eat your favorite foods, the novelty wears off. Your brain realizes, “Hey, this ice cream isn’t going anywhere. We can have it tomorrow, or next week, or whenever we want.”

Suddenly, the food loses its intense power over you. You can eat a few scoops, feel genuinely satisfied, and leave the rest in the freezer without a second thought.

This summer, try shifting from restriction ➡️ permission. Stock the freezer. Normalize the fun foods. Because peace with food starts when you stop treating it like contraband. ✨

5 Products I recommended to clients this week as a registered dietitian.

Not sponsored, just sharing a peek into products I recommended for reasons ranging from convenience and flavor, to fiber and hydration needs for good 💩

Let me know if you’ll be trying any of these!

If you saw yourself in one of these, you’re not alone. This is exactly what I help clients work through.

📩 If you’re ready to improve your body image and relationship with food, book a discovery call through the link in my bio.

Adding fiber doesn’t have to be boring. Here are 4 of my favorite weeknight dinners that pack in extra fiber thanks to beans. 🫘 Which one are you trying first?

Science > Vibes. Alway.

As a registered dietitian, my job is to filter the noise so you don’t have to. From trends that are actually causing harm to habits or products that just aren’t doing you or your wallet any favors. 🤔

Which one of these surprised you the most? Which one do you want me to do a deeper dive on next?
