UPDATE ON TYSON — PLEASE READ & SHARE
I need everyone to know the truth about what has been happening with Tyson.
Boston Animal Control originally agreed to release Tyson to a rescue group as long as he had a trainer—both of which were already secured. Instead of honoring that agreement, Tyson was transported to East Falmouth because of the backlash and the growing petition demanding his release.
This is especially outrageous because East Falmouth Animal Control was directly involved in the incident from the start. Everything began due to a failed in-ground stake they recommended, which malfunctioned and put Tyson in danger.
Since then, East Falmouth Animal Control—especially ACO Chloe Eressy, who has been orchestrating the entire situation—has shown clear prejudice, pushed false narratives, and fabricated multiple facts to justify taking Tyson.
Chloe Eressy even went as far as pushing for a dangerous dog hearing and made sure every party except Tyson’s actual owner was notified and kept up to date. She even went above and beyond to contact the owner’s landlord herself, inserting herself in ways that were completely inappropriate and unnecessary.
Instead of prioritizing Tyson’s safety, East Falmouth worked behind the scenes to gain custody of him and is now pushing aggressively for him to be euthanized. They have even fought against an appeal that would have placed Tyson safely with a rescue—which was already lined up, approved, and backed by Boston Animal Control.
Tyson had:
✔ A rescue ready to take him
✔ A trainer ready to work with him
✔ A signed release agreement from Boston Animal Control
Yet East Falmouth stepped in and derailed everything.
This is not about public safety. This is about retaliation, bias, and a misuse of authority.
Tyson deserves fairness. He deserves transparency. And most importantly, he deserves to LIVE.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, signed, and shared — we will not stop fighting for Tyson.
