Join us for a SNS Workshop!

Event: From Tube to B**b. How to support your families with at breast supplemental nursing systems (SNS).

Event Details: Amy Winkel-Gois, IBCLC of Late Night Latch is offering comprehensive training session on using At Breast Supplemental Nursing Systems. This course will provide lactation professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively utilize these systems for improved patient care. Learn how to integrate it into your daily workflow to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.

Event Notes: This workshop will be hosted at Newton Wellesley Hospital/Allen Riddle Living Room.
This is a separate brick building located behind the Hospital. To view a NWH campus map, click here.

Enter the Hospital grounds at the set of lights on Washington Street for the East Entrance.

Take your first right into the Patient/Visitor parking garage.

After parking your car, exit the parking garage to the outside by the East Entrance. You will see the Allen-Riddle brick building up the road on your left.

Enter through the main entrance for classes located on the first floor.

Event Notes: Join MLCA members and colleagues for a presentation by Elina Karagiannakou, SLP, IBCLC.

Elina is dual certified in speech language pathology and lactation consultation. Elina has been practicing for over 20 years in major hospitals and rehabilitations centers and currently works as part of the Spaulding/Salem Hospital network and BMC. She has a special interest in supporting families of infants with oral feeding difficulties for both breast and bottle feeding. She loves working as part of a team and helping families achieve their feeding goals. Elina hopes to promote the professional landmark of lactation consultants in the healthcare setting by applying for the one year board member position at MLCA.

Kim works with small businesses and individual practitioners to help manage their finances.

Topic:
Kim will provide financial management tips, covering tracking income, expenses, fees, and managing employees or contractors. She will also discuss the distinction between personal and business expenses, clarify common financial terminology, and suggest useful financial tools. Kim will answer your previously submitted questions. There will also be time for a live Q&A.
