I like to share my hormone therapy journey to help others understand how it can help them.

But I also do so with the caveat that your journey will likely look different than mine! This work is as nuanced and unique as you are—but when done right, it can help you feel better than you’ve felt in a long time.

I love getting feedback on my course and some of the most common themes I hear are:

👉The focus on treating the whole person is refreshing.
👉It’s concise and current. (That’s the goal!)
👉The intersection of mood, midlife, perimenopause and menopause is eye-opening.

I was re-listening to my course this morning and thought: I wish it had a shorter title… but it *really* does go “Beyond Nutrition!”

It covers EVERYTHING you, as a dietitian, need to know about hormone therapy.

Plus, it’s evergreen and can be used as such a strong foundation in practice, as a dietitian, or for you, as a woman in this phase of life.

👉 We have special pricing currently in the higher tier that includes a call with me. If you purchase the lower tier, there is an option to increase at any time - with lifetime access and updates!

Head to course.robynkievit.com or my bio link to learn more and buy the course today!

Brain fog is one of the most common things I hear about from patients moving through perimenopause and midlife and one of the most misunderstood pieces of this phase.

As a provider I like to ask patients ‘What is your life like in a week?’. This helps me understand nuances around common questions about subjects like brain fog.

As patients, please let your provider know this information even if this means pressing and educating them. You are our priority!

This June, The Menopause Society published a paper for members titled "Brain and Cognitive Health at Midlife" (Caldwell, 2026). Swipe for patient and provider takeaways.

What is a ‘discovery call’?

I have these with every single potential new client or patient, and they last about 15-30 minutes by phone.

To me, having these conversations is incredibly important for many reasons:

1️⃣I’m learning more about the person I may get to see and work with in private practice. Hearing their voice, where they are in their journey, what works for them and what does not - how they appreciate being cared for is incredibly important.

2️⃣This allows me to understand if we’re the best fit in working with one another or if another clinician is better suited in their training and expertise. I help hand-deliver folks to other clinicians with the best experience and availability for them if this is the best next step.

3️⃣I also like to hear more about how long this potential patient or client has been working with their referring provider and a bit about the work they are doing. Sharing that I’ll be collaborating with their referring provider or team is key and part of the healing and ongoing care.

I see working with patients as long-term that can span over years and stages of life. Certainly, if and when the work is done, we graduate from one another. As well, always thinking of the fewest and lowest doses of medication for each individual.

As a patient or client, do you prefer discovery calls with a potential new provider? Do they matter?

I’d also love to hear from entrepreneurs in private practice to learn more about how you start your work and continue seeing patients. What’s your best process?

Big news!! 🎉🎉

I have a new website(s)!

👉Over the last couple of months, I’ve spent time with an incredible team creating a better, more defined, and articulate website.

👉 My course, Beyond Nutrition: Integrating Hormone Therapy and Psychopharmacology in Eating Disorder Treatment During Perimenopause and Menopause, also has its own designated website!

👉A blog post is live today, too. My first in 2026 because things have been a little busy. The blog post titled ‘What Do You Need Right Now’ encompasses the changes above and the podcasts in 2026 to date, including those I’ve been on as a guest and recorded myself.

Everything is in the Linktree above. Happy summer!
