I used to think I was bad at meditating. Turns out, I just hadn’t found the right doorway in.

For me, that doorway was Reiki.

Reiki has profoundly changed my life for the better because it gave me a way to slow down, breathe, receive, and reconnect with myself without the pressure of “doing meditation right.”

Fortunately, Reiki is used in hospitals and cancer centers across the country as supportive care. Unfortunately, it is typically not covered by insurance the way some other complementary wellness services are.

That is part of why Community Care Day matters so much to me.

I believe energetic support should feel accessible, not like a luxury.

So whether you’re going through a financially difficult season, feeling curious but skeptical, or wanting to make Reiki part of your regular self-care routine, Thursdays are for you

Because community care should include all of us. 💛

“Does distance Reiki actually work?” 👀

Short answer: YES!

Distance Reiki is based on the idea that healing energy isn’t confined by physical distance. While the experience feels different than lying on a treatment table in a cozy studio, the intention, energetic connection, and relaxation can still be profound.

✨ In person = immersive sanctuary vibes ✨ Distance = healing in pajamas with zero commute

Different format. Same intention. Same loving care.

As many of you know, I also work overnight shifts as a sleep technologist alongside building my Reiki practice. As I continue growing this business, I’ve been working on creating a schedule that allows me to better balance client availability, family life, and my own energy levels in a sustainable way.

With that in mind, I’ve updated my availability to create more consistency, offer intentional session times, and help prevent burnout so I can continue showing up fully present for every client I work with.

My updated hours going forward will include:

Weekdays / Evenings

✨ Wednesday + Thursday
2 PM - 8 PM

Mornings / Weekends
✨ Friday
10 AM - 4 PM

✨ Saturday
10 AM - 2 PM

🌿 Limited flexible sessions by request

I just learned the other day that April is Stress Awareness Month

🫣😅🌿

Honestly, most of us are already pretty aware when our stress gets loud.

But we’re not always as aware of how it’s showing up in our bodies.

Weird sleep
Tight chest
Tummy issues
Tense neck and shoulders
Clenched jaw
That constant on-edge feeling

That’s stress too.

The more we brush past those signals, the more our bodies keep holding onto it.

Once you start noticing how it feels, you can actually start to release it 🌿
