School starts back up soon, so the days will be changing for the Mom’s class starting Tuesday the 25th. We are also going to try it out a Thursday class as well and get rid of the Friday class for now.

If you want to check it out, come join in. Your kids are welcome! You don’t have to be a mom either, if this time works best for you! The first class is always free!

Last Friday we worked some frisbee into the workout. We saw some “athleticism” being showcased. It’s always a good day if you can smile a time or two during a workout.

Do you think about starting up a workout routine but aren’t sure where to go or what to do? Work, children, hobbies, life, etc. can make it tough to find time. Having some accountability and a fun group with a laid back atmosphere can be a good starting point.

Send us a message if you’re curious about our adult training classes and if you would be a good fit.

(The exercise being performed in this photo has never been, nor will it ever be included in your workout. However, it was impressive.)

Anyone in need of battery powered leg compression sleeves? Eric used them one time after surgery and they haven’t been used since. They’re free for the taking if someone could put them to good use. Thanks!

Andrea has some great points here! This is extremely relevant from the rehab side of athletics as well.

As a physical therapist, I've seen athletes and active adults dealing with nagging injuries, stalled recovery, fatigue, or declining performance.

Some injuries are traumatic. They happen because of a fall, a collision, or simply bad luck. Those aren't always preventable.

But when someone keeps getting injured... when they're on their third stress injury, their fourth muscle strain, or they never seem to fully recover...

I don't think that's something we should simply accept as "part of being an athlete."

Sometimes there's more to the story.

Sometimes the body is being asked to do more than it has the resources to support.

The part that sticks with me is that it's usually not intentional.

These are often people who genuinely care about their health. They're choosing foods they believe are "healthy." They're exercising consistently. They're trying to make good choices.

No one ever taught them that eating healthy and eating *enough* aren't always the same thing.

That realization has completely changed the way I look at health.

It's one of the biggest reasons I've become so passionate about nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention. Because I don't just want to help people recover from injuries—I want to help people understand how to fuel a body that's trying to heal, adapt, and perform.

Our bodies are incredibly resilient.
But they can't recover, adapt, or become stronger without the energy they need.

Sometimes what looks like another injury...
is actually a body asking for more support.

Fuel isn't something you have to earn.
Sometimes, it's exactly what's missing.
