It's true. And believe me, while holding someone in their highest light, their highest potential sounds nice, I've also had my qualms with this one.
So let's break it down.
In a critical moment, most of us just want to be seen, heard, and met right where we are. Validated and justified in our feelings, not told "it gets better."
This, alone, hits a deep pattern dating back to childhood, past lives, and/or generational wounding of *NOT* feeling this way. So positive words, while well-intended, may feel irrelevant or invalidating.
Embodying a higher frequency, however, — of love, of remembrance — alongside someone's suffering actually helps us remember who we truly are.
It helps us feel it beyond words. This redirects the energy in motion back to our baseline — balance.
Not with words, but with energy. Through infinite wisdom. That we are meant for more. That we are here to feel better than where we've come from.
A family member of mine always said, "I'll hold this for you until you can hold it for yourself." And I fought it and fought it, until I fully understood.
When you worry about someone, you do their soul a disservice. When you trust their journey and remind them of their nature — to be well — they can calibrate accordingly. Sometimes instantly.
So next time you receive what seems like hard or bad news, play with the energy of embodying love, trust, surrender. See how your strength of knowing serves yourself and your loved ones.
