Stillness isn’t always the absence of movement — sometimes it’s simply awareness and presence.

What can you be aware of and present with in this moment?

Mobility isn’t just about how far you can bend—it’s about building a body that supports you in everything you do, on and off the mat.

We practice not to chase extremes, but to explore possibility, resilience, and awareness in our own unique bodies. Every shape, every path, every pace belongs here!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last weekend’s Sunday Reset: Extended Kaiut Yoga session!

Together, we explored the intelligence of the feet as our foundation—how grounding through them can support balance, stability, and a more regulated nervous system.

By bringing awareness to where we meet the earth, we can open pathways for deeper rest and connection throughout the whole body.

Yogis left feeling restored, and with tools to return to—again and again—to support regulation, resilience, and ease that can be made accessible in daily life.

Stay tuned for the date & theme of May’s Sunday Reset session!

Spring has arrived - and with it, change.

Your nervous system is always in conversation with your environment - responding to shifts in routine, pace, and the world around you. As things change around you, your inner rhythm adapts too.

Grounding the nervous system is a way of returning to steadiness and inner calm. It supports a sense of ease, clarity, and connection in the body.

This doesn’t have to be complicated—just small, consistent moments that remind your system it’s safe to settle.

3 Simple Tips to Support a
Grounded Nervous System

• Legs Up the Wall

A gentle inversion that helps regulate circulation, calm the mind, and downshift the nervous system.

BONUS: Grab your favorite pillow, blanket, maybe even invite your fur baby on the floor with you!

• 10 Nasal Breaths with Extended Exhales

Inhale through the nose, then slowly lengthen your exhale. This activates the parasympathetic response—the body’s natural calming mechanism.

BONUS: Breathwork pairs well with aromatherapy—try using your favorite essential oil.

• Fresh Air / Nature Time

Step outside, even briefly. Natural light, fresh air, and sensory connection to your environment help orient and reset the nervous system.

BONUS: Take some time in stillness and bring your awareness to your senses by identifying 5 things you see, 4 you can feel, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, and 1 you can taste.

These practices are intentionally simple. Their power is in their consistency.

Sound Healing is back at CURA Yoga Center!

Take a break and give yourself a chance to reset.

Melissa Carey is here to guide you! The session will begin with a grounding meditation and simple pranayama practices to help settle the nervous system, anchor your awareness, and invite a sense of safety within.
As you rest comfortably, you’ll be immersed in the soothing vibrations of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, mantra, and Indian Raga vocals and sitar, gentle chimes, and resonant tones that support relaxation, release tension, and holding patterns within the body.

This experience invites you to soften, unwind, and reconnect with yourself—no effort required. Simply lie down, receive, and allow the sound to guide you into a state of deep rest and renewal.

This is a trauma informed space, you will always have a choice—rest, adjust and attend to your body, or simply listen. The vibrations of sound can help release stored tension, support emotional processing, and invite a sense of ease and grounded presence.

Come as you are, no effort required. Leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more attuned to your inner natural rhythm. This practice is open to all paths and all levels.

With the New Moon on 4/17, this session offers a timely space to reset and set intentions. New moons are often associated with beginnings—making this an opportunity to reflect on what you want to create or shift, and to start that process from a more centered place.

Yoga Nidra with Liliya 🌙
Wednesday evenings
6-7pm MT In-Person & Online

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a deeply restorative guided practice done lying down comfortably with blankets and bolsters. During the session, you’re gently guided through relaxation, body awareness, and calming imagery while remaining softly aware.
As the nervous system shifts into a deeply restful state, the body can release tension, reduce stress hormones, improve sleep, and support natural healing and recovery.

By reconnecting awareness to the body, Yoga Nidra helps restore balance to the mind and nervous system—offering something many of us rarely gift ourselves: permission to truly rest.
