Thankful to be a part of an incredible team at Boulder Community Health.

Last week, B*H began utilizing the WATCHMAN TruSteer™ Access System in the cardiac catheterization lab at Foothills Hospital. We are just the second hospital in Colorado to offer this new piece of technology, which is a complement to the WATCHMAN FLX™ Pro – the only FDA-approved implant proven to reduce stroke risk in people with atrial fibrillation (AFIB) that is not caused by a heart valve problem.

Srinivas Iyengar, MD - one of the most experienced WATCHMAN physicians – was the first interventional cardiologists in Colorado to utilize the TruSteer catheter – which supports steering and a greater range of motion to position the WATCHMAN implant for more complicated anatomies.
