Dear clients,

It has been an honor to be apart of the many memories, tattoos, piercings, stories, relationships, laughs and tears with you guys over the last decade. Even though our building is being taken, our story is not over. There once was Murder, now follow us to the afterlife! We are honored to announce that the artists and piercer are staying together and we are ready to make new memories at our new shop, Afterlife Tattoo Collective 🤘 please give us a follow and share this with your friends and family! We will be opening soon, keep an eye on our page for the many details to come, see you guys on the other side 🖤

To our amazing clients, thank you for the incredible memories over the past decade! Just because we are losing the building that we reside in, doesn't mean we are going to give in....with that being said the artists and piercer are sticking together and moving to a new location to call home!!! And in order to do that we need you guys, our family! Please keep an eye on our page for the updates and steps we are taking during our move! We will still be in bowling green 🤎 just down the road, with a new name! Wish us luck on our journey and we hope you will join us soon 🤘

Ok guys Joe and Meg here , this is a post we thought we never would have to make especially after all this shop has been through, fought for and survived and conquered past including past owners lies and backstabbing , people we thought were our friends not just employees or coworkers that also were not who we thought they were . Through the trying times of covid where many businesses had to fold ...this is where we stand . A few months ago our beautiful and downtown staple building was sold to a new owner . We were promised a smooth transition , we believed the old owner and the new owner of the building. That was not the case ...July 1st I was faced with a decision from the new owner , almost double the rent or get out . Doubled rent is just not possible while we have a small crew after weeding out problem artists. We have until September 1st to turn in our keys to the building . We were told multiple corporate businesses want our location , which include a law office or get this , a burrito joint . Ya a burrito joint . So a business that has history here in downtown BG as a tattoo studio location for years ...before us ..before the past 2 owners ....history as a know studio location and staple ...gone to money and greed . As of now there is nothing that can be done besides come see your artists...all these guys deserve your support and get them booked through August 31st ! We have looked to relocate MURDER INK TATTOO COMPANY to another downtown location but there is nothing sizeable enough for us , just smaller storefronts that would only hold 2 or 3 artists . It was a hell of almost 11 years and at the end of the day I'm glad we didn't fail like the previous owner but am saddened that money and greed is what is pushing us out . So come support these amazing artists and follow them as I believe they will be sticking together and keep a eye out for possible new things to come from them. We are behind our artists 100% and they know they have our full support. I as an artist will still be coming back from Florida as I have been to take care of my Ohio and Michigan clients so if you still want work from me feel free to reach out to me on my personal page . Again ..we thank you guys for the years here and the support we have been shown . This isnt a goodbye, it's a see you at the next stop ! 🤘
