💙 We need your help — and it doesn’t have to cost a thing.

This picture is why New Beginnings exists.

It’s about the horses, yes. But it’s also about the relationships, the confidence, the accomplishments, the smiles, the hugs and the moments that are sometimes hard to put into words.

For nearly 30 years, New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding has been doing this work in our community. And right now, we need your help spreading the word about the good that happens here.

You don’t have to make a donation to make a difference.

From morning barn chores to preparing horses and welcoming participants, every day is made up of a hundred little moments that keep the program going.

We are grateful for the horses, participants, families, volunteers, and team members who make days like this possible.

What exactly is therapeutic riding? 🐴

At New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding, horses are part of an environment designed to help participants work toward meaningful individual goals while building skills, confidence, and connection.

A lesson can involve much more than riding. Participants may work on communication, focus, following directions, balance, coordination, fine and gross motor skills, social interaction, confidence, and independence.

Every participant is different, which means every lesson can look a little different too. 🤎
