First signs of fall in Kentucky: apple picking and something new on the calendar. 🍎🍂 We found a few local events to enjoy this September!

1️⃣ Apple Festival at Jackson’s Orchard
📍 Jackson’s Orchard | Bowling Green
📅 Saturday–Monday, September 5–7
⏰ Saturday & Monday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM | Sunday: 1:00–5:00 PM
Kick off fall with a weekend of apples, fresh cider, caramel apples, pick-your-own fun, food trucks, a playground, petting pen, and more!

2️⃣ Health & Wellness Resource Fair
📍 Opportunity Center of Owensboro | Owensboro
📅 Wednesday, September 16
⏰ 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Explore resources for individuals with disabilities, caregivers, and providers at this free, inclusive event. Meet organizations offering support in mental health, physical fitness, financial literacy, arts, continuing education, and more, plus enjoy giveaways and food trucks.

3️⃣ Friends of the Library Used Book Sale
📍 Warren County Public Library, Bob Kirby Branch | Bowling Green
📅 Thursday–Sunday, September 17–20
Shop used books, puzzles, games, DVDs, LPs, and more while supporting the Warren County Public Library! The sale begins with a members-only evening Thursday, followed by public shopping Friday through Sunday.
