A piercing can get irritated even after months of behaving perfectly.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s infected or that your body is “rejecting” it.
Sometimes the culprit is something surprisingly simple: Sleeping on it • headphones • hats • snagging it • hair products • moisture • jewelry that needs downsizing • repeated pressure
Healing piercings LOVE consistency.
So when a piercing suddenly gets angry, ask yourself:
“What changed?”
Sometimes fixing the irritation is less about adding something to your aftercare and more about removing what’s bothering it.

Fresh ear additions ✨

We added a 3rd lobe + flat piercing to her existing setup, and I love how these two little additions bring the whole ear together.

The flat gives her some sparkle up top, while that third lobe fills in the spacing beautifully. Sometimes you don't need a ton of piercings to completely change the look of an ear!

Doing double nostril piercings is definitely not an easy feat!

One thing people don’t always realize is that the human body is naturally asymmetrical. Noses included. One side may sit slightly higher, curve differently, or have a different amount of tissue than the other. That means placing paired nostril piercings isn’t as simple as measuring the exact same distance on both sides.

It takes careful marking, checking from multiple angles, and working with the client’s individual anatomy to create the most visually balanced placement possible.

With paired piercings, I always keep this in mind:

They’re sisters, not twins. 💜

The goal isn’t mathematical perfection. It’s creating a pair that looks balanced and beautiful on your anatomy.

Y’all… I am TIRED. 😂

Yesterday’s Piercing Party was absolutely WILD, and I don’t think I fully realized just how much we did until I looked at the numbers.

36 people walked through our doors.
58 new piercings walked back out.
Approximately piercing every 12½ minutes.

Twelve straight hours of cleaning, marking, piercing, changing gloves, opening jewelry, answering questions, giving aftercare instructions, cleaning again… and doing it all over.

My feet hurt. My back hurts. My brain is done. 😂

But seriously, THANK YOU to every single person who came out, waited patiently, trusted me with your piercings, and kept the day moving.

And a huge thank you to everyone who helped keep things running behind the scenes because there is absolutely no way one person pulls off a day like that alone.

A big thank you to Nikki Storch for handling the counter tonight, like holy hell you kicked ass. And for my apprentice Barber Jordan thank you for literally standing by me with cleanup and taking care of our customers, I hope you learned a lot!

I think I’m allowed to be tired now. 😂
