I don't get to post on this page as much as I would like because of my busy schedule but there is one thing I would like to bring up , and that is a lot of piercers create so much trauma for no good reason other than they just don't know what they are doing or they were taught by some one that did not know what they were doing . example if a piercer comes at you with clamps for a nose piercing leave they should be using a NRT . a needle receiving tube or if they have to chase the jewelry because they did not use a over sized needle or they are using a cannula needle system that makes it take longer because it is an extra step you just don't need, so go and watch them pierce others before you decide on them as a piercer.

A solid piercer will always take the time to clean the surface area before they pierce the client and if it is an oral piercing they will make sure the mouth is clean as well, I use surgical soap and then alcohol for most piercings and a strong mouth wash for oral piercings .

Don't be fooled not all tattoos that heal badly are caused by improper after care that is just an Artist excuse for over working the tattoo i have been getting tattooed since 1985 and a tattoo artist since 2008 some of my tattoos i used no after care and just let them dry up and heal on their own and they look fine on others i have used scented and unscented lotions ,Vaseline and a&e ointment ,h2 ocean i finds they work wel in moderation , but when an artist can not admit to his or her own mistake it is sad and you should drop them as your artist

Just a re-introduction of my self my Name is Nathan Copeland I did my first piercings a little over 8 years ago and it has become and on going and growing passion of mine. I work at Natural Mystic Tattoo and Body piercing Studio I am one of two piercer,s . i have not posted on here in awhile , but i would like to talk about metal allergies,if you are the kinda of person that can only wear gold in your ears you may have a allergies to certain metals .some can not wear watches or body jewelry because of this but the main culprit is nickel .Nickel is a metal on its own it is not man made it is mined from the earth and is added to many other metals because it can make other metals more durable . this is why the chrome on a 57 chevy is still shiny after all these years is because they added nickel to the chroming process . most body jewelry is stainless steel 316l implant grade but it still contains nickel but such a low amount less than 5% that it is consideration hypoallergenic but that could be enough to irritate some people .so my suggestion is before getting a new piercing have a consultation with your body piercer before you get pierced also make sure the jewelry will not cause you a problem may be wear it against your skin for a few days prior to the piercing to see if any rash occurs .also make sure it is sterilized before it is placed into the new piercing .
