Today we're celebrating the community film about Nk̓ʷusm Language School in Arlee and their commitment to advance community health through food.

“I try to do as much as I can organically, homegrown, and just from scratch. I try to stay away from boxes… we try to keep it pretty Indigenous, so I use 85-95% bison meat,” shared Francis Brown LoneBear, Food Director at Nk̓ʷusm Salish Language School. When discussing the value of connecting with community and food as it relates to Indigenous culture, he says, “one fire, one family, and we all work together.”

Please support communities throughout Montana and go watch the community film series! https://www.mtpech.org/community-film-project
