Just in time for Pride on Saturday! I've finished off these cute wee pride rings featuring the Trans flag and the Q***r flag. Pave setting on one and Scallop setting on the other.
We are an entirely q***r owned buisness and we love celebrating people for who they are.

This two‑month online course is designed for anyone who wants to build confidence in drawing, even if you feel you “can’t draw” or have no artistic background. Every two weeks, we’ll meet on Zoom for a focused two‑hour session exploring specific aspects of countersketching and rendering. Each class breaks the process down into simple, achievable steps so you can develop practical skills that support your design work.
All sessions will be recorded, so you can revisit the material at your own pace or catch up easily if you miss a class.
Across the two‑month block, we’ll cover essential techniques for visualising form, understanding proportion, creating depth, and communicating ideas clearly on paper. The goal is to help you build a reliable drawing toolkit that enhances your creative practice, whether you’re designing jewellery, objects, or simply wanting to improve your visual thinking.
No special equipment is required. You only need a pencil, paper, a rubber eraser, and a ruler.
This course is supportive, accessible, and structured to help absolute beginners succeed. If you’ve ever felt intimidated by drawing, this is a welcoming place to start building skills that will serve you long after the course ends.

Counter‑sketching is the skill of drawing quick, accurate concepts in real time with a client. An invaluable tool for communicating ideas and refining designs on the spot. Rendering takes those sketches further, transforming them into illustrations that feel dimensional, polished, and alive.
In this session, we’ll bring a ring design to life step by step, then move on to rendering a black‑and‑white diamond with depth and sparkle. This class is designed to be approachable, practical, and hands‑on.
All you need is an internet connection, a sharp pencil, and a few sheets of copy paper.

Took some time this morning to get proper photos of this ring. Not bad, considering I haven’t touched a camera in a few years and don’t have a photo box.
I used cabochon sapphires and rose cuts because I wanted this to be a bit of a fidget ring. The smooth stones create a subtle texture and lend a touch of vintage charm.
The running thistle engraving honors a kilt pin I was given many years ago, adding that little bit of something special for me.
