A CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) gives us a 3D view of your child’s teeth, jaws, airway, and surrounding structures. Unlike a traditional 2D X-ray, a CBCT allows us to see things from multiple angles and better understand how everything is developing and working together.
We may use a CBCT to help evaluate:
- Tooth development & eruption
- Impacted or missing teeth
- Jaw growth & facial development
- Airway anatomy
- Bone and root structure
- Orthodontic and treatment planning
Our goal isn’t simply to look at straight teeth, it’s to understand the whole picture and use that information to provide thoughtful, individualized care for each child.
Because when it comes to growing smiles, seeing the full picture matters! 😁🦷
