Meet Kirsten:
Dr. Kirsten Mackey is a board-certified family medicine physician practicing traditional osteopathy and integrative primary care. She specializes in osteopathic manual medicine, prolotherapy, neural therapy injections, and integrative approaches including homeopathy, craniosacral therapy, Ayurveda, autonomic response testing, and functional medicine. She also has been an active Hatha yoga instructor since 2004.
Dr. Mackey's interest in integrative healing grew from her own experiences with injuries and health challenges as an NCAA Division I field hockey player and competitive snowboarder. She earned her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Nevada Reno.
Outside of her clinical and teaching work, Kirsten enjoys singing, songwriting, rock climbing, snowboarding, and hiking with her family.
