🏥 Am I right?! As X-Ray techs we see patients before during and after surgery. We get to see patients and their doctors during surgery. We see the Surgeons patients after surgery and in their recovery many weeks later for follow-up imaging. We literally get to see it all.

🤔 Have you ever seen a “Scotty dog” ?

🐶 Scotty Dog is a classic sign seen in oblique views of the spine taken by radiologic technologists. The vertebrae resemble a Scottish terrier! The “dog’s” parts include the pedicle (eye), transverse process (nose), superior articular process (ear), and inferior articular process (front leg). Spotting this helps doctors diagnose issues like spondylolisthesis and other conditions.
