✨ This is what real support looks like ✨
Today was a powerful reminder that support doesn’t stop at the hospital doors, it expands through community.
This mama spent 2 hours in the hospital working on latch with no success.
She was tired. Frustrated. Unsure.
So I reached out to a trusted colleague, Doula Deaddra Gissendanner with DeeDee’s Doula Service, someone I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with on multiple occasions, to provide additional hands-on lactation support.
And within a short time…
✨ Baby latched
✨ Baby nursed for 30 minutes
✨ Confidence was restored
The shift wasn’t just physical, it was emotional.
Mom left feeling more supported, more empowered, and more confident in her journey to naturally nourish her baby. 💛
