Variations of Beauty Aesthetics & Wellness “Renew Your Body, Reclaim Your Life”

06/11/2026

Let’s be honest.

Most men will change the oil in their car before scheduling their annual checkup.

They’ll push through exhaustion.
Ignore symptoms.
Put everyone else’s needs before their own.

Then say, “I’m fine.”

Men’s Health Month is a reminder that health is more than what you see in the mirror or accomplish in the gym.

It’s knowing your blood pressure.
It’s understanding your heart health.
It’s prioritizing sleep.
It’s managing stress.
It’s taking care of your mental health.
It’s showing up for yourself the same way you show up for everyone else.

Strong men don’t wait until something is wrong to pay attention to their health.

They prioritize prevention.

They ask questions.

They schedule the appointment.

They know their numbers.

The truth is, many families have someone they wish had gone to the doctor sooner.

So let’s have a real conversation.

👇 What is one piece of health advice you would give the men in your life?

Tag a father, husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, or mentor who needs this reminder.

Let’s make this a conversation worth sharing.

Men, when did you last get a checkup? Not a gym check-in. An actual wellness checkup.💙

June is Men’s Health Month and it’s a reminder for the husband who puts everyone else first. The father running on empty. The man who says “I’m fine” even when something feels off.

Too many men wait until they can’t ignore it anymore and by then, it’s harder to treat.

Strong men don’t avoid the doctor.
Strong men know their numbers.
Strong men take care of themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Health is more than what happens in the gym. It’s your blood pressure. Your heart. Your sleep, your stress, your mental well-being. It’s showing up for the people who need you by first showing up for yourself.

At Variations of Beauty Aesthetics & Wellness, we see men too. We offer weight management, hormone support, IV therapy, metabolic health, and more in a space where you can be real about what’s going on.

Ladies, tag a man you love and remind him he matters.👇🏾

June is Men’s Health Month, and one conversation that deserves more attention is mental health.

Many men are carrying stress, burnout, anxiety, financial pressures, family responsibilities, and the weight of always being expected to be strong all while quietly neglecting themselves.

Mental health challenges don’t always look the way people expect. They can show up as fatigue, irritability, poor sleep, lack of motivation, brain fog, or simply feeling overwhelmed. Here’s what many people don’t realize, these aren’t just emotional symptoms. They’re physical ones too.

As a healthcare provider, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply our mental and physical health are connected. When stress goes unchecked, everything suffers : sleep, energy, relationships, focus, and overall quality of life.

**Checking in with yourself is not weakness.**
**Asking for help is not weakness.**
**Prioritizing your health is not weakness.**
**It’s one of the strongest things you can do.**

If you’ve been feeling off — exhausted, foggy, unmotivated, or just not like yourself — that’s your body asking for attention. You don’t have to push through it alone, and you don’t have to keep showing up for everyone else while running on empty.

To every man reading this: your health matters, your mental health matters, and we’re here for that. 💙

**What’s one piece of advice you’d give the men in your life about prioritizing their health? Drop it below. 👇**

Mental Health Awareness Month may be coming to a close, but mental health is something we should continue to prioritize every day.

Take a moment and check in with yourself.

How are you really doing?

Many of us spend so much time caring for others, meeting deadlines, showing up for our families, and managing daily responsibilities that we forget to pause and assess our own well-being.

Your mental health matters.

Your physical health matters.

And the two are more connected than many people realize.

Stress, sleep, nutrition, physical activity, social connection, and overall wellness all play a role in how we feel mentally and emotionally.

As we close out Mental Health Awareness Month, I encourage you to give yourself permission to be honest about where you are today. Whether you’re feeling great, doing okay, struggling, or needing support, your feelings are valid.

Healing is not a journey that has to be walked alone.

Thank you for joining me this month as we’ve discussed fatigue, stress, Vitamin D, wellness, and the connection between physical and mental health.

Let’s continue the conversation beyond May.

Living in Florida, most people assume their Vitamin D is just fine. ☀️ We’ve got sunshine year-round, right?
Not so fast.
Vitamin D deficiency is far more common than most people realize and yes, even here in the Sunshine State.

Low levels may be contributing to:
😴 Fatigue that sleep doesn’t fix
💪 Muscle weakness
😔 Low mood or feeling emotionally flat
🤒 Decreased immune function
🌫️ Just... not feeling your best

Vitamin D plays a critical role in bone health, immune function, muscle strength, inflammation regulation, and overall wellness and your levels matter more than you think.

The good news? There are ways to support healthy levels:
☀️ Safe sun exposure
🥚 Egg yolks, salmon, tuna, sardines & fortified dairy
💊 Supplementation when appropriate for your body

However here’s the key. What works for one person may not be enough for another. Testing takes the guesswork out of it completely.
This is why I always say: stop guessing, start knowing. 🩺

You’re getting 7–8 hours of sleep and still waking up exhausted. 😮‍💨
The brain fog. The mood dips. The “I used to have energy for this” feeling.

A lot of women chalk it up to stress or aging but sis, your body might actually be running low on something.

Vitamin D deficiency is one of the most overlooked reasons women feel off and it doesn’t travel alone. It overlaps with hormonal imbalances, gut issues, and stress in ways that make it easy to miss.

Here’s what it can look like:
🔲 Waking up tired no matter how much you sleep
🔲 Low motivation (like, zero desire to do the things you used to love)
🔲 Mood shifts that seem to come out of nowhere
🔲 Brain fog and trouble focusing
🔲 Muscle aches or feeling heavy in your body

Sound like you? Save this post. 📌

This is not something to push through. It’s something to understand and address.

At Variations of Beauty, we look at the whole picture: your labs, your lifestyle, your hormones, your gut. Then we build a plan that actually makes sense for your body.

Most women do not ignore their health because they do not care.

They ignore it because life gets loud.

Work.Family.Stress.Responsibilities.Trying to hold everything together while quietly feeling unlike themselves.

So the fatigue gets brushed off.The stress becomes “I’m just tired.”The symptoms get pushed to the bottom of the list. And slowly, feeling exhausted starts to feel normal.

Until the body finally asks for attention.

This National Women’s Health Week is your reminder that preventative care matters long before something feels seriously wrong.

Annual wellness visits.Routine screenings.Mental health.Hormonal health.Heart health.Rest.Nutrition.Checking in with yourself again.

Because your health deserves the same care you give everyone else.

This week, choose yourself too. ✨

You’re not just tired.

When fatigue starts to affect your focus, your mood, and your ability to function day to day, it becomes more than just needing rest.

Mental fatigue can show up as
difficulty concentrating
low motivation
feeling overwhelmed
or not feeling like yourself

These are often signs your body is under strain.

Stress, poor sleep, nutrient deficiencies, and hormonal changes can all impact how you feel mentally and physically.

This is where understanding your body becomes important.

Not pushing through it.
Not ignoring it.

But taking the time to identify what needs to be supported.

✨ Renew your body. Reclaim your life.
