To our Serenity Orthodontics Family:
In light of all that is happening in our community and the world, we want to let you know what we are doing to protect you in and around our practice. Your safety and the safety of our community is our primary concern.
Currently our offices are postponing our normal schedules in effort to support the health and safety of our community and to
We plan to resume normal hours in two weeks as recommended by the American Association of Orthodontists. We all can expect continual changes in routine as the status of this situation comes into greater focus.
If you would like to talk to Dr Podray you may call/text 678-879-3006 or contact her directly on her cell phone 678-787-3863
We remain available for extra care visits, questions concerns and digital “FaceTime” visits. We will gladly drop orthodontic rubber bands in the mail if you have need.
For now, we are operating as follows:
Following published CDC guidelines of "social distancing" to help stop unintended spread of COVID-19, we are closing our reception area to non-patients and non-essential family members.
To minimize the number of people in our office, we respectfully request that you do not bring siblings, friends, or relatives to your family member’s orthodontic appointment.
When parents are accompanying children, we ask that only one parent, rather than both, attend with your child.
If you have a fever, or even mild flu like symptoms, please do not come to the office. Please call us, and we will gladly accommodate you with a new appointment.
If you have traveled to a high-risk area outside the United States, such as China, South Korea, or the European Union, please call the office to reschedule your appointment until after you have at least 14 days of being symptom free.
Unlike many public environments, our clinic remains a very safe space to continue administering care, as we are constantly disinfecting our facility and equipment by following CDC, and State of Georgia regulations and recommendations pertaining to dental care settings.
In addition to our standard levels of hospital-grade sterilization and disinfection after every patient visit, our team is disinfecting common areas twice daily, including waiting room chairs, front desk, refreshment area, and brushing station.
Hand sanitizer has been placed throughout the office for your use. Please use it when entering and leaving our office.
Fortunately, routine orthodontic care seldom carries with it any urgency. Please rest assured that should the changing environment require a deferring of appointments, or our office hours require alteration, your orthodontic treatment will not suffer any significant delay. Although we are hopeful that it will not be necessary, should it become prudent to delay office operations for any reason, we will be able to continue your treatment unabated at such time that operations return to normal.
We thank you for your time in reviewing this update. We will get through this together.
Sincerely,
Dr. Susan Podray
