On this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on their courage and unwavering dedication to protecting the freedoms we cherish. We are forever grateful to those who gave their lives and to the families who carry their legacy forward.

๐Ÿšจ NOTICE: Emergency Preparedness Drill at PMH ๐Ÿšจ

If youโ€™re visiting Pioneers Memorial Hospital tomorrow, May 21, donโ€™t be surprised if you see our hospital team, emergency personnel, and emergency vehicles outside our Emergency Department. PMH will be participating in a county-wide emergency preparedness drill alongside El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) and multiple local agencies.

This full-scale exercise will imitate a mass chemical exposure incident, bringing โ€œsimulated patientsโ€ to our Emergency Department so our teams can practice a coordinated public safety response. Even with all the excitement, you can be sure our main priority tomorrow will be taking great care of our real patients.

This training, coordinated by the Imperial County Public Health Departmentโ€™s Emergency Medical Services, is an opportunity to collaborate and prepare, ensuring weโ€™re ready to care for you and your loved ones, whatever comes our way.
