Since 1982, A Day to Give West has brought together students, alumni, and community partners to support the continued success of the University of West Georgia. This annual day of giving is an opportunity to celebrate all that UWG has accomplished while investing in the future of a university that shapes lives and creates lasting change.

Let’s make Thanksgiving a little sweeter for our neighbors! 🦃❤️

We’re collecting canned cranberry sauce to support the Community Christian Council (CCC) and their Thanksgiving meal boxes for families throughout Haralson County.

The CCC is made up of multiple local churches and businesses working together to provide essential resources to our community, including:

🥫 Food Pantry
🩺 Free Medical Clinic
🧒 Kids Club
🤰 Pregnancy Resources
📚 GED Classes
💙 Financial Assistance

This year, the CCC needs at least 600 cans of cranberry sauce to help provide Thanksgiving meal boxes for 600 local families—giving families an opportunity to gather around the table and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal that may otherwise not be possible.

🎓Dr. Jones earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, and completed her internship and pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Throughout her career, she has practiced at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, as well as in private practices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, before making Georgia home.

With more than 20 years of experience in pediatrics, Dr. Jones is dedicated to caring for children from newborns through the teenage years. She has experience caring for children with a variety of needs, including ADD, ADHD, and ODD.
