I’m gonna start off by saying I’m exhausted.. I’ve been an “influencer” for like 4 or 5 years and I am tired.. ⠀

Many people follow me for my weight loss journey, my spiritual journey, or for my positivity and inspiration.. Which I am extremely grateful for! I appreciate every single one of you for being here for me during this journey! ⠀

But I’m tired.. and I need to take a step back. I have so many things going on right now.. so many things we’re doing, trying to accomplish, and posting on “social media” for myself yes, but more so for everyone else takes up the majority of my time.. ⠀

I’m wanting to re-evaluate my priorities.. I’d like to read a book, spend more quality time with my girls, master homeschooling, practice magic, craft like crazy, focus on our health and our family.. & a few other things!! ⠀

🌱 Indoor Plant Tips! 🌱⠀

Proper Plant care is super important, so here’s a look at how I keep 50+ babies so happy! 🌿⠀
⠀
•⠀
⠀
First thing is watering, which it’s very important! Where I live our water has a ton of minerals in it which can create all kinds of negative things for your plants! So I fill up my jugs two days before I water and let it sit! Letting the minerals evaporate off before giving it to the plants. Or I’ll water then refill immediately after letting it sit until the next watering. 🌿⠀
⠀
•⠀
⠀
To much water creates brown, soggy and slimy leaves, so It’s important to not go overboard when watering so I stick with just about 8-16 oz! 8ish oz for my smaller pots and 10ish+ oz for the big guys that aren’t pictured! 🌿⠀
⠀
•⠀
⠀
Ideally each of these guys can go anywhere from 7-10 days in between watering.. my indoor plants like to be moist, but not drenched, and then they like to fully dry out but not Desert dry! Their picky at first but once you understand how they like it, it’s easier to maintain! 🌿⠀

Each of my pots either have drainage holes with a water catching tray or larger rocks in the bottom of the pot underneath the soil! That way if I accidentally over water, the water collects in the rocks letting the soil dry out still! 🌿⠀

Lastly is fertilizing! Ideally fertilization varies between plants, but a general rule of thumb is once a month. So for this day I put the fertilizer directly onto the soil before watering, but I think next time ill let the fertilizer dissolve in the water while it chills out before watering! Feel free to skip fertilizer during the winter months, most indoor plants are not actively growing in the winter and don’t need it! 🌿 ⠀
