Brewerton Brokerage SELF-DIRECTION MADE SIMPLE! I have been working in the OPWDD field since 2006 and have navigated services with my son since 1998.

Our goal is to assist people with developmental disabilities, enabling them to: Self-Direct their OPWDD Services, Develop a Circle of Support, Complete and Manage a Self-Direction Budget, Manage their Supports. My personal and professional years of experience give me a wide range of knowledge and understanding of what special needs families go through. Along with assisting with the Self-Direction

process, I will be sharing information on a variety of topics related to individuals and families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. My goal is to take some of the stress away from caregivers and be sure individuals are receiving the supports they need to live a fulfilling and meaningful life within their communities.

AccessCNY's new Social Skills Session offers a therapeutic, small group environment where adults, 18 years of age and older with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, can meet new people, learn to have meaningful conversations, actively listen to others, understand how feelings affect behavior and learn conflict resolution skills.

Participants will also discover more about friendship, dating, on-line safety, bullying and personal hygiene. Register for the Social Skills group today to improve your confidence, mental well-being and overall happiness!
