We hope all of you had a Happy Mother’s Day! May you continue to be celebrated for the sacrifices you make, the comfort you give, the strength you show, and the unconditional love you pour into your families and communities. From sleepless nights and busy schedules to the hugs, encouragement, and endless support, our mothers truly hold everything together!
As we continue to celebrate the women in our lives, it’s also a reminder that May is Women’s Check Up Month, an important time to prioritize your health and wellness. Regular check-ups and preventive screenings play a key role in staying healthy and caring for yourself as much as you care for others!
Don’t forget to:
• Schedule your annual wellness visit

World Asthma Day May 5, 2026!

Today we recognize World Asthma Day, a time to raise awareness, support those living with asthma, encourage those living with asthma, and encourage better breathing for everyone.
Asthma affects millions of people of all ages, but with the right care and management, it can be controlled. Knowing your triggers, taking your medications as prescribed, and having an action plan in place can make a big difference.
Common symptoms of asthma:
• Shortness of breath
• Wheezing (a whistling sound when breathing)
• Chest tightness or pain
• Persistent coughing (especially at night or early morning)
• Trouble sleeping due to breathing issues
Common triggers include:
• Allergens (pollen, dust, pet dander)
• Smoke or strong odors
• Weather changes
• Respiratory infections
Quick reminders:
• Always carry your rescue inhaler
• Stay up to date on medication
• Talk to your healthcare provider about your asthma action plan
• Don’t ignore symptoms-early treatment matters

Let’s work together to spread awareness, reduce stigma, and support healthier breathing in our communities!! If you have any questions about asthma medications or management, we are here to help!
