A 2025 study 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘦𝘪𝘬𝘪 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘺 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘦𝘶𝘬𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘢 𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 5-7 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦: 𝘈 𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘺 by Demir et al. examined the effect of Reiki performed on 66 children with leukemia between the ages of 5–7 years on pain, vital signs, oxygen saturation, and quality of life. The research was a double-blind, pre-test-post-test randomized controlled experimental study. The data were collected using Information Form, Wong-Baker FACES Pain Scale (W-BPS), Vital Signs Follow-up Form, and The Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL) 3.0 Cancer Module.

Reiki was performed to the Reiki group for 20–30 minutes once per day, for 3 consecutive days and pseudo-Reiki was applied to the pseudo-Reiki group by an independent nurse during the same period. Reiki did not affect the vital signs of the children but was effective in reducing pain and increasing the quality of life compared with the pseudo-Reiki and control groups.

Noting the study's rigorous design and its evidence-based rationale for incorporating Reiki treatments more broadly into cancer care practices, CRR reviewers scored this paper, published in the 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘕𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨, highly (Very Good/Excellent) using the CRR Touchstone evaluation process.

Well...... a few nights ago I was bawling my eyes out.
But these were happy tears.

I had just read about BRAND NEW VALID RESEARCH on how Reiki and other energy methods affect pain levels and
now there is an amazing article on how Reiki (or a more inclusive term is Biofield Therapy) affects pancreatic cancer cells- just published in April.

There is much, much more information available.

This is what Reiki and other energy practitioners have been waiting for for EONS.

The science behind what we do.

At Last.

It does not mean abandon traditional medicine. I would never say that.

For 23 years I have imagined treatment centers where biofield methods are an integral part of all patient care. Now I am sure it will happen.
