Southwest Community Health Center’s Golden Gala is coming up on October 1! Join us at The Patterson Club for an evening celebrating 50 years of care, impact, and community.

🥂 The evening will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, an online auction, live entertainment, and an awards presentation honoring individuals and community partners who have helped advance Southwest’s mission.

Proceeds from the Golden Gala will support Southwest’s continued expansion of health services for the Greater Bridgeport community.

In 2006, Southwest Community Health Center’s work with Bridgeport’s homeless community was highlighted through the story of Betsy Gee, a patient services liaison with Southwest’s Homeless Shelter Program.

Betsy worked directly with people experiencing homelessness, helping connect them with medical and dental care, counseling, and other resources. Her work reflected an important part of Southwest’s mission that continues today—making sure care reaches people throughout our community, especially those who need it most.

As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’re looking back not only at how Southwest has grown, but at the people and programs that have made an impact along the way.
