One thing that comes up often at Play Warriors is families wondering what the "right" sleeping arrangement is and how to navigate a child who refuses to sleep alone, experiences night terrors, or has difficulty settling at bedtime.

The truth is, every child is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We work alongside families and help create individualized strategies that help children feel safe, confident, and secure. This can also be especially difficult when the family is navigating stress, trauma and loss. Sleep is SO vital to overall wellness, and we cannot function without it.

If bedtime has become stressful in your home, know that you don't have to navigate it alone. We're here to help children and families find what works best for them.

Community Cares: 💕
Two of our PW families are in a shelter in Portland and are in need of the following:

12 yr old female: assorted art supplies - drawing book, pencils, watercolor pens, xs tops (shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts), 12/14 youth shorts/pants, card games

Mom- size med/lg tops, size 12 shorts/pants

2 year old female- diapers 2T, wipes, toys, clothes 2T and 3T, love books and learning

Food items that can be stored in closet, microwaveable Mac and cheese and ramen, gift cards to food out or door dash (no vehicles)

Tampons/pads, self care items - soap, face wash, makeup remover, lotion, aloe gel, acne stickers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash.

Drop off to PW in Windham 12-4 Monday through Thursday and Bridgton 2-5 Friday! Please drop off to the waiting area or email [email protected] to notify us when you will be arriving.
