Melissa S. has 5 autoimmune diseases! 😳Yep...FIVE!!!!!!

Her life has been changed by Plexus products, but even with all the progress she had made, she still struggled with some lingering issues.

Then she added Armor.

She’s gluten-free and dairy-free, so she immediately did a deep dive into the ingredients and got incredibly excited.

The five pathways of rebuilding and supporting the gut lining made so much sense to her. She knew this was exactly what her body had been missing. Now, her body feels calm. At peace. Zero flares. No more rashes. Everything has changed.

She described it like this:“It’s like having the AC on, but leaving a window open. You’ll get cool eventually, but when you close the window, everything changes.” That’s what adding Armor to an already solid Gut Health routine has been like for her.

Your gut lining is your body’s security system. When that protective barrier isn’t functioning well, it can impact so many areas of health. Armor is designed to help support and protect that gut wall, allowing the rest of your wellness routine to work even better. It’s time to take ownership of your health.

Armor is changing the conversation. Hormones. Longevity. Autoimmune concerns. Gut health. Because feeling better isn’t about masking symptoms but supporting your body at the foundation.

"The first time I remember my stomach issues really getting in the way:

✨In high school we made it to the state tournament in volleyball. The day we were to play, I was nervous and hadn't gone to the bathroom in a couple of days. I threw up the entire day, during each timeout and on the way home on the bus.

✨2nd time it hit me that something was really wrong: My senior year of college I dropped to 148 pounds (typically I'm about 160lbs). I ate nothing but steamed chicken and sweet potatoes for months and I would run out of the cafeteria because I had to throw up. I would go to volleyball practice and bruise super easily because I wasn't holding down enough calories or nutrition.

✨3rd instance: I was attempting to prevent going in for a colonoscopy at age 22 and I was told to drink an entire bottle of miralax throughout the day. After drinking the whole bottle, I still didn't go to the bathroom. I was on the floor all night with the most intense stomach cramps. The worst pain. I finally went to the bathroom after 24 hours of drinking all of that. I repeat, the worst pain.

✨4th: When I was pregnant with Kennedy I was miserable. I would stop at a red light open my door and vomit. Nausea, inflammation, 55 pounds of weight gain, constipation, heartburn, the works. I would throw up prenatal vitamins almost immediately after taking them too. After a trip to the ER because of what I thought was my appendix - ended up being constipation, gas, lots of vomiting. I was desperate. I cut out gluten and spent so much money on probiotics, Metamucil and miralax etc. They didn't even touch my symptoms.

After one week on this gut health system that I wrote off for yearsssssss, I knew this was different. I felt relief like I hadn't felt in a very long time. I'm seeing changes. My stomach hurt less and less everyday. My husband slowly got his happy wife back.

I love this so much and have been taking this regimen and feeling great!

Did you know your body naturally produces GLP-1?

GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) is a hormone made in your gut that helps regulate blood sugar, supports healthy insulin response, slows stomach emptying, and sends signals to your brain that help you feel satisfied after eating.

The popular GLP-1 medications aren’t actually GLP-1 itself—they are drugs designed to mimic or enhance the effects of your body’s natural GLP-1 system. They work by helping the body utilize these pathways more effectively.

For many people, the goal isn’t necessarily medication. Sometimes the focus is on supporting the body’s natural processes through healthy nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep, and targeted supplementation.

That’s why I’m excited to share that my GLP-1 support supplements are currently 10% OFF with FREE shipping! 🎉

If you’re looking for a natural way to support appetite control, healthy blood sugar balance, and your wellness goals, this could be a great time to give them a try.

Message me if you’d like more information or want to see if they’re a good fit for your goals!

If you’re tired of squeezing marbles out your butt

A couple of weeks ago (maybe 3?) I said I was going to share once or twice a week what I have learned about our bodies hormone GLP-1.
Well...family life events got me off track. So now, here is the second thing I learned...finally!

☀️Movement & Inflammation: Why Your Body Loves When You Move

Here’s something most people don’t realize:
GLP-1 isn’t just a “food hormone.” It’s a movement-responsive hormone.

When you move your body-especially walking, strength training, or gentle cardio-your muscles act like an endocrine organ. They release signaling molecules (myokines) that:

• Increase GLP-1 secretion
• Improve insulin sensitivity
• Tell your body to lower inflammation, not store it
• Reduce inflammatory markers like CRP and TNF-α
• Help your brain receive satiety signals more clearly

Translation:
Movement makes GLP-1 work better, not harder!

And here’s the kicker...
You don’t need brutal workouts!

🚶‍♀️ 10–20 minutes of walking after meals improves GLP-1 signaling
🏋️ Light strength training increases receptor sensitivity
🧘 Low-stress movement lowers cortisol—which otherwise blocks GLP-1

When GLP-1 is supported through movement:
• Hunger calms down
• Blood sugar stabilizes
• Inflammation cools
• Fat loss becomes more cooperative

This is why we don’t do “all or nothing” in our challenges.
We do daily, doable, hormone-supportive movement.

🔥 Today’s non-negotiable:
Move your body with intention—even a walk counts. Especially a walk.
My non-negotiables include a minimum of 5,000 steps walking and 20 minutes on my vibration plate

Your hormones are paying attention.

✳️Product tip: Plexus has its own line of creatine that surpasses other retail creatine products because of added D3 & L-leucine. Creatine is one of the most well-researched and trusted supplements for supporting muscle strength and performance. And today, the conversation around creatine is expanding—reaching far beyond the gym. It’s also EXCELLENT for the GLP-1 hormone.

💥💥💥 FRIDAY FACTS 💥💥💥

I think it’s important to clear up some of the confusion around GLP-1 medications and supplements, because this conversation is happening everywhere right now.

There are two different approaches when it comes to hunger, metabolism, and blood sugar.

Medications work by directly activating receptors that impact appetite and blood sugar.

A root-cause approach focuses on supporting the body so it can regulate those systems on its own.

And this is where people often misunderstand supplements.

Your body is designed to respond to what you eat.
Fiber, nutrients, and compounds from whole foods interact with your gut and metabolism to help release hormones like GLP-1, support insulin function, and regulate hunger.

This is happening at the cellular level. It just happens through normal physiology instead of a medication.

For example:

When you eat fiber, your gut bacteria break it down into compounds called short chain fatty acids. Those compounds signal cells in your intestine to release hormones like GLP-1, which help regulate appetite and blood sugar.

Certain plant compounds and nutrients also support pathways in the body that improve insulin sensitivity and metabolic function.

So supplements are not “doing nothing.” They are supporting the systems that control these hormones.

The difference is not cellular versus non-cellular. The difference is direct activation versus supporting the body’s natural signaling.

And when your body is functioning well, it is not just GLP-1 involved. It is multiple systems working together, including your gut, metabolism, and overall health.

But here is the reality we have to acknowledge.

Our food supply is not what it used to be.
Our soil is depleted.
Our food is less nutrient-dense.
And even when you are eating well, most people are still falling short on key nutrients.

So while food should always be the foundation, supplements help fill the gaps.

They support the gut.
They support blood sugar.
They support the systems that regulate hunger, energy, and metabolism.

And we cannot ignore lifestyle.

Movement matters.
Muscle matters.
Daily habits matter.

A lot of people are looking for something that works without having to change anything else.
But the body does not work that way long term.

Medications can be incredibly helpful for some people.
But they also come with potential side effects, and they do not fix the underlying systems.
(Read that again)

Some people are okay with that.
Others want to understand how to actually support their body and feel better long term.

This is not about replacing medication. And it is not about pretending supplements act like a prescription.

It is about understanding that we have two different approaches.

We can override the system.
Or we can support and restore it.

Both have a place.

But if your goal is long-term health, energy, and sustainability, we have to look at the foundation.

And that always starts with the gut, metabolism, movement, and giving the body what it actually needs to function well.
