Happy 21st birthday to my first born baby Sydney 🥳🎉

It feels like yesterday I was putting bows in her hair and picking out her outfits… and now she’s 21, living states away, playing college soccer, and building a life of her own. Parenting is such a strange mix of holding on and letting go...

She doesn’t really do bows anymore, which may have something to do with the fact that I forced her to wear one approximately every day of the first 5 years of her life . Sorry, Syd.😬

Sydney is spending her 21st birthday in the middle of soccer preseason, so celebrating properly will have to wait until the season is over. (A 21st birthday during preseason feels particularly unfair. 😂)

Happy birthday, Syd. I’m so proud of the life you’re building and even more grateful that I get to be your mom. 🩷

Welcome, Cara!

We’re excited to welcome Cara Neeson, MSN, RN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC, to the Milk’d Up team! Cara is a pediatric nurse practitioner and lactation consultant who provides practical, compassionate feeding support. July 2–9: Milk’d Up is on vacation!
We’re heading to Gulf Shores to celebrate my parents’ 55th wedding anniversary—with 12 family members sharing one beach house. What could possibly go wrong? 😆

Current clients enrolled in ongoing support can still reach out, and I’ll respond within 24 hours. Regular messages and scheduling requests will be answered when I return.

Join us for free feeding support, weighted feeds, connection with other parents, and answers to your breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, and infant-feeding questions. No registration is required—just come as you are!

🤰 July 29: Baby Feeding Basics Class
6:00-8:00 pm

Prepare for feeding your baby before they arrive! We’ll cover what to expect during the first days and weeks, how milk production works, positioning and latch, pumping, bottle feeding, common concerns, and when to reach out for help. Partners and support people are encouraged to attend.

Registration is $50.
