Considering a referral for Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and/or Speech Therapy (ST) may be beneficial to support the student's success in the school setting. These services can help address challenges related to motor skills, sensory processing, communication, language development, and overall participation in classroom activities. All can improve the student's ability to access the curriculum, engage with peers, and build independence in daily school tasks. Collaboration between therapy providers, and families can further enhance the student's academic and functional outcomes.
