I just want to quell some rumors real quick.
Recently the NYS OCM, assisted by the NYS Tax enforcement and the NYS Troopers conducted a raid on h**p shop down the road from our shop. Unfortunately, we became a target of opportunity because we were right down the road. Over 15 agents from these collective organizations descended on Veterans H**p Market determined to find something they considered "contraband" or illegal. They violated many of civil rights as they spread through the building searching what ever they wanted.
Veterans H**p Market received no violations what so ever, there was no seizures on any of our property and none of these agencies even left any paperwork verifying they were there or had a right to be there to do what they were doing - this is the equivalent of a massive stop and frisk. These "agents" accused us of having an expired license and not paying our licensing fees: We had proof that this was false on site with us thank goodness. This behavior by our own government needs to end - not everyone is out there trying to push D9 conversions and Delta 8 products into the market. I will say though - NYS - you created this problem, it shouldn't be law abiding tax paying organizations that pay for your incompetence.
