BLACK OAK CLINIC APPOINTMENT NO-SHOW & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Black Oak Clinic, we are committed to providing timely, quality care to all of our patients. In order to better serve our community and ensure appointment availability for those who are sick or in need of urgent medical care, we must strictly enforce our appointment cancellation and no-show policy.

Effective immediately, a $20.00 No-Show Fee will be charged for any missed appointment that is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

Patients may cancel appointments by calling our office at 580-584-3099 during normal business hours. If you need to cancel outside of business hours, you may leave a voicemail. As long as the cancellation is received at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, no fee will be assessed.

Unfortunately, we have experienced a significant increase in missed appointments. While we have tried to be understanding and lenient in the past, the number of no-shows has reached a level that negatively impacts our ability to care for other patients and maintain clinic operations.

When an appointment is missed without notice:

• Another patient who may have needed urgent medical care loses the opportunity to be seen.
• Providers and staff time are reserved but go unused.
• Staffing and operational costs continue despite the missed appointment.
• Access to care becomes more limited for our community.

For these reasons, the $20.00 No-Show Fee will be enforced with no exceptions moving forward, and patients will be responsible for payment of this balance.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide the best possible care to all of our patients. Thank you for helping us keep appointments available for those who need them most.
