We’ve spent the last week looking through hundreds of photos, reliving so many wonderful moments, and trying to find the right words to thank everyone who made the 13th Annual Custer Care Tractor Drive such an incredible success.
The truth is… one post could never fully express how grateful we are.
This event may have tractors at its heart, but it’s really about something much bigger. It’s about neighbors helping neighbors, local businesses opening their doors, volunteers giving their time, families making memories together, and a community coming together to support a cause that truly makes a difference for Custer Cares Transportation.
Our day began at Bob’s Trucking Repair, where Bob and his team once again welcomed us with open arms as the starting and ending point of the drive. Thank you for your continued generosity and partnership.
Our first stop at Les Kulhanek’s was another wonderful reminder of the hospitality that makes Custer County so special. Thank you for welcoming everyone and helping make the morning one to remember.
A heartfelt thank you to Josh and Christy Berghorst for hosting lunch. There is something special about seeing everyone gathered around a meal, visiting with old friends, making new ones, and simply enjoying the day together.
To the City of Broken Bow and the Broken Bow Police Department, thank you for helping keep everyone safe as we traveled through town. Your assistance with traffic and road closures allowed the tractors to roll through safely, and we appreciate your support more than you know.
This year’s drive also gave us the opportunity to honor the memory of J.D. Ellison, whose memorial donations continue to support the Tractor Drive. His generosity continues to leave a lasting impact, and we are honored to remember him through this event.
To our amazing sponsors, thank you for believing in this tradition and investing in our community.
To every tractor driver, thank you for bringing your tractors, your stories, and your love of agriculture and history. You are the reason this tradition continues year after year.
To everyone who climbed aboard our ride along wagon, stopped in for breakfast or lunch, donated through our free will offering, waved from the roadside, or simply came out to support the event thank you.
A very special thank you goes to our incredible Custer Care staff. Events like this don’t just happen. They take months of planning, early mornings, long days, and countless hours behind the scenes. From organizing registrations and coordinating stops to preparing food, serving meals, setting up, cleaning up, and making sure every detail came together and you gave your all, it showed.
Most importantly, thank you to our entire community.
Every registration, every sponsorship, every donation, every volunteer, and every helping hand supports Custer Care Transportation Services, helping ensure that members of our community have access to the transportation they need. Your generosity allows us to continue serving others, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
Looking through these photos reminds us just how fortunate we are to live in a community that shows up for one another. We don’t take that for granted.
From all of us at Custer Care…
Thank you for making the 13th Annual Tractor Drive one we’ll never forget. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year. ❤️🚜
