Do you feel like you have PTSD from your caregiving journey? Throw a 1 in the comments if you can relate.

I’ve begun to share my personal story of developing PTSD from a series of caregiving experiences. I haven’t felt comfortable being so vulnerable until now. I decided to share as I saw others struggling with how to deal with the trauma they endured. I hope my story encourages others to share theirs.

Julie shares a beautiful birthday experience she had hosted for her mother who had dementia. “Mother felt heard...even if she didn’t remember it the next day, it was a beautiful moment”.
