What happens during an IV infusion?
✨IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into your bloodstream for faster absorption and better results.
💧Check in & Assessment- we review your health history, medication, allergies, and what you're receiving.
💧IV Placement- A small catheter is inserted into a vein, usually in your arm or hand. You may feel a quick pinch.
💧Infusion Begins- The IV solution slowly enters your bloodstream. The rate depends on what you're receiving and how you tolerate it.
💧Relax & Monitor- Sit back, relax, and hydrate while we monitor you for comfort and reactions. Time can range from 20 minutes to several hours depending on treatment. Average is 45 minutes to an hour.
💧Removal- Once finished, the IV will be removed and a small pressure dressing place
💧Afterward- Most people can resume normal activities and start to feel better!
