And may I share one thought that I trust you keep forever?
Menopause should not only be thought of as just a period of loss.

There's a Kemetic image that comes to my mind. The sun does not become the morning sun by force. It has always been the sun. Dawn simply reveals what was already there.
So too with you.
This is not a reinvention.
This is a revelation.

For us, the menopausal journey is proving to be a period of retrieval.

We are retrieving:
our aesthetic,
our wisdom,
our voice,
our freedom,
our joy, and
our future that our younger self quietly assembled piece by piece.

I trust that these words serve as a magnificent testimony for the women who will read my book.

Beloved Menopause Goddess, I can almost imagine your 40-year-old self watching you today and smiling:
"I bought those archived treasures you've been saving in the back of your closet for this day, because I trusted our becoming. I didn't know exactly who we would become, but I knew she would need them someday."

And today, our 50-60-year-old selves gently reply,

After a full, energetically winning weekend...
Ancient Blends ApotheCare was wonderfully active yesterday, and the entire weekend.
I found myself sitting outside in the sun between visitors, soaking up the warmth of the season, smiling back as folks walkd by, and nodded. I truly enjoyed the camaraderie, the joyful energy that came with the Knicks' victory.
The color orange was activated and it WAS truly the frequency in the air. It's customary for me to wear orange each Sunday for more than two decades now, so seeing so many people joining me yesterday was a private delight 🤩.
A time was had indeed! ✨️🧡✨️🧡💙

Today, I intend to stay in my bed 🛌🏾, all day, gathering my thoughts, my energy and my reflections about the color blue! 💙

Some invitations are not to understand, but simply to witness.
Last evening, I accepted an invitation to stand in support of a young woman's artistic and deeply personal expression of becoming. I left with more contemplation than conclusions... and I honor that.
As a Priestess, every assignment is not to interpret, but to bear witness with dignity, compassion, and respect for another's unfolding.

What I saw was not a formal community rite. I saw an intimate artistic gathering in a gallery space, people seated in a circle, visual art on the walls, an atmosphere of performance and observation rather than communal ritual. I was dressed as the respected elder and priestess that I am, carrying myself with dignity. I also saw moments of joy in the room afterwards, I remained gracious regardless of my internal uncertainty.

Throughout history, people undergoing transformation have sought the presence of an Elder, a Priest or a Priestess not necessarily for approval, but because an elder's presence gives weight to a transition.
Whether that transition is clear or confusing is not the matter.

In many traditions, blindness symbolizes:
surrender
transition
death of an old identity
entering the unknown
trusting another.

Hair has symbolic meaning across countless cultures.
People cut their hair after:
grief
liberation
spiritual awakening
heartbreak
identity shifts
artistic statements

My presence may have represent for her:
validation
ancestral witnessing
spiritual legitimacy
community acknowledgment
simply someone she deeply respects
All of the above.
